Your wedding is around the corner and what better way to kick off and make the day a memorable one by exploring the new collection of gowns at our Stella York Trunk Event! From 1st to 3rd October 2021, we’ll be hosting Stella York at our boutique, where brides can come to try on a range of gowns including ones we don’t usually carry. During the event, all the brides-to-be will have a unique opportunity to try on the wedding dresses before making a purchase. After wearing a gown designed by some of the top-class designers, a bride will truly look like a star on her big day. Every design available at the event pays close attention to detail and quality, giving each wedding gown its unique look. But before making the final pick, here are a few things you need to be clear about:
Have a Budget in Mind
Before starting to choose a wedding dress, you need to set your budget. You need to know how much you can afford to spend. You would never want to fall in love with a dress that you cannot afford and will be sad about later. Ask the team to show you options that are within your budget.
Choose as Early
Don’t leave choosing a wedding dress at the last minute. It takes a long time for a designer to create a new dress and make all the necessary alterations. If you will be purchasing at the last moment, you will have fewer options. There might be a time when you would have to pay additional charges as well.
Consider the location or theme of the wedding
The Location certainly does matter. For a beach wedding, you definitely would not want a ball gown. On the other hand, if you have a church wedding, you would not go for a gown that’s too revealing. The material to be used for your dress will also be decided based on the season, that is whether you are having your wedding during winters or summers.
Choose Styles that go with your Body Type
Be clear whether a V-neck, A-line along with spaghetti straps dress suit your body or will you be more comfortable in a boat neck along with full sleeves. Also, a sweetheart or scooped neckline is pleasing on brides who are large chested. Plus-size brides often appear their best in Empire dresses. Tall women should stick to simple dresses that sweep the floor and have a low waist. Short women look better in a sheath, trumpet, or A-line gown that has a waistline above their natural waist rather than ball gowns.
Make sure of the comfort
No matter how beautiful a dress looks on you, you will never be happy if it’s not comfortable. Choose a dress that is both flattering as well as comfortable. You would never want to be fiddling with your dress at the wedding.

Considering all this will give you a chance to be on the right track and grab a complete one-of-a kind gown from Stella York! These events are special occasions for everyone involved, and the Stella York Fall Trunk event is even more unique and special! So, come and be a part of the event!
